DMA SNAPshot: Made in the Shades

By Phill Powell

Each summer, tech-camp students come to Digital Media Academy, and they’re always equipped with at least two essential items: their phone and their sunglasses.

Welcome to DMA, where the future’s so bright…you gotta wear shades!

Sunglasses are a big win/win, helping protect your peepers from damaging UV rays while also giving you a cool, detached look. Take a look at our campers and staffers and see if you don’t agree:

COOKIE GLASSES

We were sure these guys were wearing shoddy shades. The truth: Both suffer from “Oreo Eyes.”

THE MAN IN THE MIRROR

With these mirror shades, we can ID the photographer as well as the subject!

This hearty film production course student didn’t forget his eye protection when his crew hit the beach.

THEY MUST HAVE SHOPPED AT THE SAME SUNGLASSES HUT

LOOKING COOL ON THE COURT

LOOKING GOOD!

When kids (ages 8-12) and teens (12-17) attend a Digital Media Academy tech camp, they not only learn about today’s hottest tech subjects, like Wearable Tech. They also learn how to meet and get along with new friends.

This is a great socialization process for kids who may need a pre-collegiate experience to show them what going off to school is all about.

Start planning the learning adventure of a lifetime, by checking out DMA today! And when you attend, don’t forget your shades!
