The only thing “Star Wars” fans are anticipating more than the December 18th release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the release of the full theatrical trailer.

“Calm You Must Remain, Young Padawan”
Most of the details about Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been shrouded in secrecy, but based on the teaser trailer, the movie includes new types of lightsabers, stormtroopers and possibly a new threat to the Rebellion.

But fans won’t have to wait long for more details, because the full trailer will play before every screening of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which opens on May 1st. Waiting until May 1st for new “Star Wars” updates may feel torturous for some U.S. fans, especially since they know the international release date for Avengers: Age of Ultron is April 22, 2015.

Celebrating Star Wars
But we’ve also heard the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer may sneak out before then, specifically at the Star Wars Celebration Convention, which is running from April 16-19, 2015, in Anaheim, California.

That’s when J.J. Abrams & Kathleen Kennedy, the respective director and producer for the upcoming film, will make a special appearance to kick off the event. Insiders hint it’s to show off the new trailer.

Some fans are already expecting the amazing filmmaking and special effects of the new “Star Wars” film to be the centerpiece of the Star Wars Celebration.

Even if a sneak peek of the trailer isn’t shown at the Star Wars Celebration, there will still be plenty to see. The show promises “four fun-filled days of exhibits, a vibrant, interactive show floor, screenings, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels, autograph sessions, fan-inspired activities, and other surprises celebrating all things Star Wars.”
